Hurray! We started organizing our speaking club meetings. The event took place at the European Humanities University with 8 participants. How was it?
November 16 d. The first meeting of the Lithuanian language speaking club took place at the European Humanities University. 8 students gathered to practice communicating in Lithuanian.
The meeting started with an introduction: participants talked about themselves and shared their reasons, why it is important for them to learn the Lithuanian language. Because the topic of the meeting also touched on the issue of adaptation, together we watched a clip about the history of Lithuania.
At the end, the participants moved on to an interesting language game, during which they had to compare their mother country with Lithuania on various topics: transport, people, culture, food. This game not only allowed students to actively use the Lithuanian language, but also sparked many interesting discussions about cultural differences and similarities.
